  3. How do I "accept" a rate, for the alternate hotel, not the one with the lowest rate??

    On my iniitial "test drive" of the system, you obtained a more favorable rate on my first choice of hotels, however the lowest rate was for a hotel that would not be my first choice. How do I indicate my "acceptance" of the rate at the better hotel, the Vinoy Resaissance in St. Petersburg, FL?

  4. Add more information to the confirmation email

    In the hotel confirmation email, we should provide clear steps to confirm and continue to search.

    1. Read and agree to the hotel and rate terms and conditions. The reservation should be fully cancellable. Then, Confirm the booking.
    2. Continue to search for even better rates by selecting the Continue Searching button.
    3. Make any desired changes to the cluster (remove or add hotels) and settings (change the savings threshold).
    4. Done. The entire process should only take a minute or less.

  5. Watson Hotel in NYC does not measure up to your other 4 star hotels.

    Watson Hotel (NYC) has very thin walls and hot rooms. No AC after September. Dingy. Noisy. College-dorm noisy. Should not be 4 star.

    Hi, I am new to your site but very excited to use it! I wanted to provide some feedback. I am very picky when it comes to where I choose to stay. Two things that are very important to me personally are 100% non-smoking hotels and hotels that do not allow any animals except for service animals. Clarifying your amenities list would be helpful; you currently offer internet and parking as options...but I would like to know is there free parking and free Wi-Fi? Making amenities (as well as all your other criteria) as detailed as possible will assist choosy…

  8. Correctly reflect the Hotel Harrington in DC’s stars - DOWNGRADE

    I stayed at the Harrington in DC and it was just definitely NOT three stars - two at best. It was grungy, almost without amenities (just tiny bars of soap - not even shampoo), and decrepit. I’ve always been satisfied with the deal I got on TripBam, but in this case the star level was not accurate at all.

  9. stop multiple emails that simply duplicate what you have already sent.

    I don't like the liberties you take in making reservations and continuing to make the same reservations over and over again with the same hotel after I have rejected the reservations. Nothing is changing except the price of the room and it is going up. Do not make reservations without notifying me or getting my approval. STOP this or get me off your list.

    In your FAQ section:
    Why is it called tripBAM?

    The idea behind tripBAM is to be an advocate for the consumer and do whatever it takes to improve your rate. As batman fights crime, we fight over payment for hotels. As such, we BAM your rate and make it better by knocking it down. Get it?

    You might want to capitalize the word Batman because it is a proper noun.

    Would like to see a brief description of the property and what complimentary amenities are offered. Would also like to see parking costs and number and types of restaurants.

  16. Remove the cluster card list

    Does the user really need a list of the hotels in the cluster? They can see them on the map as well as in the main list (those with check marks). In addition, the user could have a Show My Cluster check box on the page to narrow the bigger list down.

  18. Savings required by property due to amenities

    The larger corporate market has negotiated amenities in their rate - parking, breakfast, and wireless. They'd like to require a minimum threshold of savings for when a traveler has booked at one of these hotels in order to give up on these add ins. Example - company has a $180 rate at the Marriott that includes breakfast and wireless. In order to move to a lower rate, they would need to save at least $10 for wireless plus $10 for breakfast (times 50% for expected usage) or $10 per night or $170 or less. They'd like to provide a table…

  19. Searching Email

    I would like the email to say "In Chicago, you’ve got the best rate at the moment but likely to drop as you get closer to check-in date" or something similar. Instead of just updating the number of checks, also confirm that what I have is the best price atm. That would make me feel good and not urge me to look around on my own just because I'm bored. Cuz I'll do that.

  20. Allow booking of refundable deposit rates.

    For hotels that require a one night deposit that is fully refundable, allow the user to select to accept these bookings or book and place the text on the confirmation page so user is clearly aware when the accept.
